If you have read Part 1 and Part 2 you will have some idea of the forces ranged against you in your own head. With application and practice you might well learn to overcome them but there is a caveat to all of this. It is the second category of fear I mentioned right at the start of Part 1. The fear of trading caused by the consequences of loss.

You will not be able to accept loss as a mere cost of doing business if you are trading while short of money to the extent that winning is vital and losing is a real disaster. It would be unwise to trade with monies that you cannot afford to lose because to do so will put you in a world of pain with your subconscious desperately trying to stop you while you force yourself to go on in a state of fear. In these circumstances I doubt that anyone could trade successfully and no amount of training will help you. You must be able to engender calmness while trading and to be able to accept the outcome, whatever it is, completely dispassionately. You cannot possibly expect to do this if your mortgage money is at risk.
